FAQ  – Frequently asked Questions

Feel free to CALL US us with any questions:

How much does a dumpster cost?2022-05-05T19:03:28+00:00

Dumpster prices vary by content.  However, you can view pricing online or we can give you a firm quote by telephone before delivery.

Give us a Call, Text, or send us an Email and we will help you select the most economical choice. We also have an online Contact form.

We will need to know what type of waste you plan on putting in the dumpster so that we can process the content properly.  A credit card must be on file at our offices before we deliver a dumpster.

We strive to stand out in the industry with on-time delivery, availability within 24-48 hours, clean pick-up, and a unique partnership with recycling facilities to turn waste in to energy for our local communities and businesses.

Can I have a dumpster placed in my yard?2017-12-30T17:54:39+00:00

Yes, we are able to place dumpsters on your property.  However, the time of year and condition of the underlying surface will determine feasibility and whether there is risk of damage to your property.

Our vehicles will have to access a full dumpster through the yard.  The additional weight upon pick-up , and possible changing weather conditions, may adversely impact your yard.    However, our trucks are especially equipped with wider tires to accommodate distributing weight to lessen impact on landscapes.    Please make decisions with this in mind.

If you have any concerns please feel free to contact us to discuss your situation and how we can help.

Will the dumpster damage my driveway?2018-05-09T03:58:00+00:00

Many contractors supply their own boards as an extra precaution to cover surfaces so that a dumpster won’t scratch or sink into the black top.

If requested in advance, we can help by supplying homeowners or project coordinators with boards to place under the dumpster to help reduce the chance of damaging surfaces.

*Remember to please request this during your order so that we can be sure the delivery is scheduled to include boards.  (Although we are pleased to help with this complimentary service, we may be between deliveries, and if not notified in advance – we may not have made space to carry extra boards on the delivery vehicle)

Our trucks are some of the newest in the industry and specially designed with a wide wheel base to distribute weight to lessen the impact on driveways and landscapes.  Additionally, the mechanics for loading and unloading the dumpsters are designed to ensure that the process is completed with a reduced risk of damage to surfaces.

Are dumpsters allowed on my street?2017-12-30T17:57:16+00:00

Most cities will allow it, but contact your City Hall for more information.

How close can you put a dumpster to my building?2022-05-05T19:37:29+00:00

Under most circumstances where there is vehicle access, we can place the dumpster 2 feet from the building.

This is a common question especially for roofing and siding projects, where having a dumpster close to the building helps streamline the completion of these projects.

A distance of 2 feet is especially close to the building and not all waste management companies can offer this service, but we understand how this can save you time and money during your project.   Therefore, we have made it a priority to have the equipment and staff to make it happen.

How can I put the most waste in my dumpster?2017-12-30T17:59:41+00:00

The most efficient way to pack a dumpster is to break things down in to pieces.   This allows you to add significantly more waste to the bin.

Is there a maximum weight for the loaded dumpster?2022-05-13T14:33:03+00:00

There are maximum weight limits set by the state of Wisconsin for highway safety.  In general the maximum weight per dumpster should not exceed 6 tons to be safely hauled in the area.  See the pricing page for the standard weight allowances for each dumpster size.    If you will exceed the standard weight allowance there will be additional charges per ton.

Concrete can often times be the most troublesome waste to handle, but we can help you manage your project. Please call, or text us with your any questions so that we can help you get the best dumpster for your unique needs.

Can I get a less expensive dumpster if it contains all recycling material?2017-12-30T19:04:54+00:00

No, our dumpsters are the same price for delivery and pick-up, regardless if the dumpster contains all recyclable materials.  However, we will deliver – at no additional cost – to the recycling facility of your choice within 20 miles (contact us for arrangements exceeding this limitation).   You can then receive direct reimbursement from the recycling facility for your recyclable materials.

It is your responsibility to make prior arrangements with the recycling facility to ensure that your material is in the acceptable various conditions for their receipt (ie. cleanliness, cut to specific lengths, sorted).   As the dumpster renter, you can then coordinate your direct reimbursement from the recycling facility.

Can I put liquids in the dumpster including my old paint cans?2022-05-13T19:15:17+00:00

LIQUIDS are NOT allowed in the dumpsters as they are restricted from landfills. Do not include liquids (ie, wet paint, solvents) in or out of cans. Liquids can be dumped out (on cardboard or carpet) and dried before including them in the dumpster.
