What are important details for me to remember when renting a dumpster?
- CALL FOR PICKUP: To avoid additional charges you MUST CALL TO SCHEDULE DUMPSTER PICKUP. The person who leases the dumpster must call our office to schedule this date. We do not automatically pick the dumpster up when your allotted time is complete– as we don’t want to remove the dumpsters before you are finished with your project. If you do not call for pickup, you will be charged an additional $7 per day (2 weeks maximum over rental period) until you call our offices and schedule a pickup date.
- EXCESSIVELY LOADED DUMPSTER: If the dumpster is overloaded by more than 2′ we will not be able to safely haul it on the highway and you will be charged a $100 trip charge. You will need to remove excess materials until it is level on top. You will also be charged for additional time until the dumpster has been leveled and is ready for pick-up.
- WARNING!! – Recycling is the LAW: Please visit for any questions on what is banned from WI landfill and incinerators at https://dnr.wi.gov/files/pdf/pubs/wa/wa1574.pdf
- LIQUIDS are NOT allowed in the dumpsters as they are restricted from landfills. Do not include liquids (ie, wet paint, solvents) in or out of cans. Liquids can be dumped out (on cardboard or carpet) and dried before including them in the dumpster.
